Eligibility Criteria
For B.Ed.
- Graduation/Post Graduation in Arts/Science with 50% marks (45% for reserved categories)
- Age limit: 28 years (33 years for SC/ST/SEBC/Women)
For B.H.Ed.
- Bachelor’s degree with Hindi as an elective/pass/honors subject
- Or, completed Rastrabhasa with graduation
- Age and relaxation rules similar to B.Ed.

The exam has two parts: Paper I (Common) and Paper II (Stream-specific).
Paper I – Common for All (40 Marks)
Paper II – Stream-Specific (60 Marks)

I : History of Hindi Literature:
Samanya parichaya : Kal bibhajan MukhyaPravrittian, Pramukh Kavi Aur Sahityakartatha unki mukhya
(Ten questions –one mark each)
II : Hindi Literature :
Samanya Parichaya :(a) Kabir, Sur, Tulasi, Maithilisaran, Prasad, Pant, Nirala, Dinkar, Bacchan,
Subhadrakumari, Nagarjun, Agneya .
(b) Premachand, Mahadevi, Mannubhandari, Harishankar Parasai,
RamachandraShukla, Hazariprasad Dwivedi

III : Comprehension :
